Raj Kumar, Alipurduar: In the end, the babies returned to the safe shelter of the mother. The hard work of Buxa Tiger Project authorities is worthwhile. They arranged to return the two leopard cubs found in the tea garden to their mother in the Buxa Tiger Reserve Forest. On Wednesday late night, the mother came out of the forest and returned to the secret camp with the cubs in her mouth.

Buxa tiger conservation project authorities said that on September 19, two leopard cubs were seen by the forest department staff near a tea garden near Buxa forest. Even though they were rescued, the forest workers were worried. As the cubs were so small that it was not possible to survive without the mother’s milk. The forest workers believe that the age of the leopard cubs will be one to two days.
