News Daily Digital Desk: BCCI is proceeding as planned. The much-awaited full-fledged women’s IPL will begin next year. Sourav’s board has written to state cricket bodies. In that letter, it was informed that at the beginning of next year Women’s IPL (IPL) BCCI wants to host. Let the state cricket organizations start preparing accordingly.

In fact BCCI organizes a small IPL-style tournament called Women’s T-20 Challenge (Women’s T-20 Challange) at the end of IPL every year. A total of 3 teams participated in that tournament. But the IPL that is being thought of next year will be in full form. The board president said in a letter, “The board is working on the much awaited Women’s IPL.” We hope to start it early next year. The rest will be communicated in due course.”

According to board sources, if everything goes well, the board is going to hold women’s IPL in March next year. The tournament will last for about a month. But it will be finished before the boys’ IPL. But not eight or ten, but six teams in the women’s IPL. However, the format remains the same. The tournament will have teams from six different cities. Just like this IPL. Which six cities will be undecided yet. It is being said by the board that the tender may be called within a few months.

Not only that, the board wants to organize an under-15 tournament in domestic cricket with an aim to take girls’ cricket further. The state cricket organizations have also been informed about that. The board president said that girls’ cricket has progressed a lot in the last few years. If domestic cricket improves, it will go further.
